Can Edomites Be Saved? Who Will Be Saved? (Part 2)

Israel Alone Can Be Saved?

In part 1 of our “Who Will Be Saved?” series, we looked at the question of whether it will be Israelites alone (the physical descendants of Jacob) who will be saved.

In this part 2, we look at the extreme opposite of that by examining whether Edomites (the descendants of Esau) can be saved. Listen to the podcast above.

CAN EDOMITES BE SAVED?

Ask this question among Hebrew Israelites, almost all will say no: Esau is doomed, can find no forgiveness. This is because of the prophecies of Ovadyahu, more specifically, this verse:

Obadiah 1:18
And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau;
for YAHUAH hath spoken it.

MERCY AND FAVOUR FOR A CONDEMNED NATION

Unfortunately, our people oh so want the oppressors to pay, and to not have hope, that we ignore other verses in the Bible that tell us even more than that verse in Ovadyahu.
They tell us of his mercy and favour, even to the nation that has been condemned. Why do we never hear the Hebrew Israelites use these verses below?

Jer 18:7 — Jer 18:10 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them. Those verses in Yirmeyahu 18 say it all.

PROVISION FOR STRANGERS TO JOIN THEMSELVES TO ISRAEL

In part 1, we looked in detail at the provisions made for strangers to join themselves to Israel and even receive inheritance among the tribe in which they sojourn. This was necessary that we continue to do, as it is all over the Tanakh (Old Testament), but largely forgotten.

Isa 56:6 — Isa 56:8
Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YAHUAH, to serve him, and to love the name of YAHUAH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
YAHUAH ELOHIYM which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith,
Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

PRACTICAL EXAMPLES OF MERCY TO THE CONDEMNED
Next, we go into practical examples found in the Bible. We looked at two of them: the people of Ninevah in the story of Jonah and Rahab the Harlot from Jericho.

SCRIPTURES USED

Obadiah 1:18
And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble,
and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau;
for YAHUAH hath spoken it.

Num 23:19
Elohiym is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Jer 18:7 — Jer 18:10
At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it; If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

Isa 56:6 — Isa 56:8
Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YAHUAH, to serve him, and to love the name of YAHUAH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer:
their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. YAHUAH Elohiym which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Jon 3:4 — Jon 3:10
And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
So the people of Nineveh believed Elohiym, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto Elohiym: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if Elohiym will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
And Elohiym saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and Elohiym repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Jon 4:1 — Jon 4:3
But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry. And he prayed unto YAHUAH, and said, I pray thee, O YAHUAH, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious Elohiym, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil. Therefore now, O YAHUAH, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

Joel 2:13
And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto YAHUAH your Elohiym: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Luke 15:7
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Luke 15:10
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of Elohiym over one sinner that repenteth.

Transliteration: hamartolos
Pronunciation: ham-ar-to-los’
Definition: From G264; sinful that is a sinner: – sinful sinner.

STORY OF RAHAB (Joshua 2 and Joshua 6)

Jer 12:14
Thus saith YAHUAH against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land. And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, YAHUAH liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people. But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith YAHUAH.

*******PROVISION MADE FOR STRANGERS IN THE COMING KINGDOM OF ISRAEL*******

Ezk 47:21 — Ezk 47:23
So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel. And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith YAHUAH Elohiym.

DOES IT MATTER WHETHER OR NOT WE ARE ISRAELITES?

THE CORRUPTED GENTILE SALVATION

26 thoughts on “Can Edomites Be Saved? Who Will Be Saved? (Part 2)”

  1. Galatians 3:29: And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

    1. One thing we need to be aware of is audience. Who is the Bible talking to? Everybody, or a specific group? Only the names of the 12 tribes of Israel are on the 12 gates of heaven in Revelation 21:12. And the Bible tells you that Esau is Edom.

For your violence against your brother Jacob shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever. (OBADIAH) 1:10

  2. Salvation is for Israel and only Israel no other peoples have the Most High’s compassion. When a verse mentions repentance it is for the children of Israel only, and the New Testament is the same as the Old. Salvation is only for Israel.

    1. Salvation is not only for Israel but the entire world. God created everyone we are all his creations and he loves creations. We have sinned and strayed away from God and now he has made a way for all people to come back to him

      1. I don’t remember saying salvation is only for Israel. Highlighting who the Edomites are suddenly puts us on the defensive so much so we ignore the message and either start attacking the messenger or deviating from the point to focus on something else. You need to understand the Gentile salvation and how it has been corrupted by the Edomites. Please watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TcP74Hsbhg.

  3. Where’s the book of Rev. Because it speaks that Edom refused. If they repented then that book wouldn’t speak such discuss. Gods knows everything before it happens.

  4. “There is no Jew or gentile, all are one in Christ. “Galatians 3:28
“even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;” Romans 3:22

  5. Abba does not change. (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
    Romans 9:11‭-15.

It is not unrighteous with God that he made one vessel to honour and 1 vessel to dishonour. He allowed the white mayenne they eat mites to rise and take over the Earth. He allowed them to steal the negro’s identity so that we would be pushed to jealousy And return Back to the father. He is the dad of Israel and none else our praises to the true & living GOD & we shall never be ashamed.

  6. I ask so can edomite be saved? Is God the God of all who call on him or its just the Isrealite, black, latino and native american van enter the Kingdom of God the city of God. Please someone answer this.

    1. You are correct that salvation is available for people from all nations; however, there is more to it than that, so let me give you all this warning. (By the way, this was not originally addressed to you, but was from a Facebook post I previously made).

      PART 2: THE GENTILE SALVATION
In my previous post, I looked at the fact that the Messiah did not come for the whole world, but does that mean Gentiles are excluded from salvation? YAH FORBID…

      Isaiah 49:6
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel:
I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

However, as we shall see, the salvation of the Gentiles is an incidental salvation and is contingent on the salvation of Israel. They are not saved on their own as a people, but their salvation is tied to that of the nation of Israel.

      John 4:22
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Israel is saved because they are the chosen apple of YAHUAH’S eyes and because of the promises made to their fathers, but are now in captivity, but Gentiles are saved through mercy as a result of Israel’s salvation.

To the word…This is explained by one incident…

      Mat 15:22 — Mat 15:28
And, behold, a woman of Canaan (Gentile) came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Master, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

But he answered her not a word (because she was a Gentile). And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us (because Messiah did not primarily come for Gentiles).

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel (salvation is for Israel).
Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Master, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread (Israel’s salvation), and to cast it to dogs (Gentiles).

And she said, Truth, Master: yet the dogs (Gentiles) eat of the CRUMBS which fall from their masters’ (Israel’s) table (she showed faith and humility).

Then Yahusha answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

The Gentile salvation is like me going to bring lunch to my son at school and bringing some for my child’s friends who have asked. My primary concern and responsibility is with my child, not with his friends, but because of my love, favor and mercy, I also provide for his friends. Had it not been for my child, I would not have reached those others, as they are not my primary responsibility.

As such, the Gentile salvation is one of cleaving to Israel, just as I provided for my son’s friends because they cleaved to him. Gentiles cannot therefore be separate from Israel and start their own religions and expect to be saved!

      Isaiah 14:1
For YAHUAH will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel (in the end it will still be about Israel), and set them in their own land: and the strangers (Gentiles) shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave (cling) to the house of Jacob (not separated from them).

It is joining to Israel that is fundamental to the Gentile salvation, which is why we have this:

      Isaiah 56:3
Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to YAHUAH, speak, saying, YAHUAH hath utterly separated me from his people (cannot join to YAHUAH and be separate from his people): neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

You cannot join yourself to YAHUAH and separate yourself from his people! There is no Gentile salvation without you joining to Israel!

That is why you have to hold on to Israel’s covenants…

      Isa 56:6 — Isa 56:7
      Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YAHUAH, to serve him, and to love the name of YAHUAH, to be his servants, every one that KEEPETH THE SABBATH from polluting it, and TAKETH HOLD OF MY COVENANT (law done away with?);
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Notice, there is a condition for being accepted. You have to hold onto his Sabbaths and his covenants…which means you HAVE TO KEEP HIS LAW!

Creating a lawless (law done away with) religion called Christianity, and separating from his TRUE chosen people is no salvation for you at all.

That is why he said this…

      Exo 12:49
One law shall be to him that is homeborn (Israelite), and unto the stranger (Gentile) that sojourneth among (clings to) you.

So your the Gentile salvation is incidental and dependent on the salvation of Israel.

That is why there were Gentiles who left Egypt with the children of Israel, but barely any mention was made of them. Why? They are not the primary concern of the Most High. They are not the apple of YAHUAH’S eyes.

      Zechariah 2:8
For thus saith YAHUAH of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you (Gentile nations): for he that toucheth you (Israelites) toucheth the apple of his eye.

      Isaiah 43:7
Even every one that is called by my name; for I have created him (Israel) for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

      Deuteronomy 7:6
For thou (Israel) art an holy people unto YAHUAH thy Aluahym: YAHUAH thy Aluahym hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

      As for the Gentiles?

      Isaiah 40:17
All nations (Gentiles) before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

      See the difference?

Indeed, Gentiles are actually used to provoke Israel to jealousy (even their salvation is used to benefit Israel)…

      Romans 11:11
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? Aluah forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them (Israel) to jealousy.

So Gentiles trying to undermine Israel’s salvation by saying it does not matter who you are?

      Romans 11:18
Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

And don’t forget, you can easily be cut off again…

      Rom 11:20 — Rom 11:21
Well; because of unbelief they (Israelites) were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if YAHUAH spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

So Mr Gentile, your salvation is not of your own. Please be humble and hold on to those who are the chosen, (and it is not the so called Jewish people in the land they call Israel).

Read Deut 28 and Leviticus 26 and you should be able to see who his people are who are now still in captivity until the time of the Gentiles comes to an end.

They are the most despised people of the earth, persecuted, ridiculed, rejected whom almost all nations have abused.

Now clinging to these people? That should be hard for Gentiles who many are on top at the moment, as pride will make it tough for them to humble themselves to these despised people. However, you have to cling to them…

      Zechariah 8:23
Thus saith YAHUAH of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that Aluah is with you.

Your salvation is not primary Mr Gentile, it is incidental. Humble yourselves and stop thinking the Messiah came for you.

He came for his people, but you get a bligh. I am saying this to help you so you are not cut off in the end.

Humble and join yourself to his people.

Bottomline? It does matter who you are. Salvation is of the (true) Jews.

      Hope this brings more clarity.

      1. What is the best way to cling to the Nation of Israel? Following YAHUAHs commandments? Helping his people back to his ways? Give them jobs or opportunities if you can? Just asking for edification. I’ve been struggling lately with the idea that because I’m from the line esau that I have no shot at the kingdom that is to come. I believe and know that YAHAWSHI is coming for his house in the last days but most Israelite camps today teach edom has no shot. We are a doomed people because of what our forefathers and ancestrial people were commissioned to do. If I don’t follow the commandments it won’t matter even if I do? I just want to please the most high and repent unto him for even the smallest shot. It’s been rough thinking about all this

        1. Yes you must keep the commandments brother and everything God or drained for us back when we were brought out of Egypt the only thing we don’t do is keep the law statutes since we’re in a different land we must respect the king of the land but God’s 10 commandments, circumcision law, and baptism, and feast days must be kept still

          Revelation 22:14
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

          King James Version (KJV)

          1 John 5:3
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”

          King James Version (KJV)

          1 John 2:3
“And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.”

          King James Version (KJV)

          Hope that helped

    2. Romans 3:29
“Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:”

      King James Version (KJV)

      Romans 2:9-10
“Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:”

      King James Version (KJV)

  7. Oh thank you so much for this. I’ve been struggling so much. I live with an Israelite who says that we Edomites have no hope, and I love Yahuah so much and I love the Israelites so much that I even serve my daughter, who is of the tribe of Benjamin because her father’s father was from Jamaica.

He is of the tribe of Judah and I serve him as well, and I’m happy to do so, but this broadcast really blew my mind because it is the first time I’ve heard hope. IUIC doesn’t say there’s any hope at all for us.

      1. It is not true to say none of us know which tribe we are from. The Most High has revealed it to some people. Even this morning (not long ago) he revealed to me in a dream, the tribe of one of my former employees.

    1. Hi Lorelei I just saw your post. I am an Edomite woman as well and want to do everything I can to follow Yahuah and his laws and commandments in repentance. Do you have an email address I can contact you at?

  8. Please forgive me for sending so many messages. I’m still amazed that we Edomites have a chance at all (also, please forgive my profile picture, I changed it on my google account but it doesn’t show that I have my head covered now, this picture is shameful to me now).

To take hold of Yahuah’s covenant and join ourselves to Israel, do we wear the blue borders and fringes? I’m thinking not, because in Song of Solomon 1:11 it says “We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.” What are Edomites supposed to be wearing?

Again, I’m sorry, I know I’m asking more questions even than the Canaanite woman asked of Yahusha. I’m just amazed that we even have a chance of hope (though I know this doesn’t wipe out that we will serve Israel, and our tribe deserves it for all we’ve done… and (as a nation) are still oppressors.

I’m also amazed at the story of Rahab. Can one person really be saved out a nation so evil? I pray to Yahusha and Yahuah that it might be done and His will is put in my heart to righteously walk with your tribe. I’m one of the fortunate few Edomites that wasn’t raised around their own kind, so I have a head start there since I don’t really know my own people and their ways actually are strange and off-putting to me.

All praises to the Most High, and His blessings on you for removing the stumbling blocks that keep us from approaching to receive our part of His righteous judgement.

    – Libby.

    1. Hi Libby I just saw your post. I am an Edomite woman as well and want to do everything I can to follow Yahuah and his laws and commandments in repentance. Do you have an email address I can contact you at?

  9. I do enjoy your teaching and learn a large amount of scripture// what is your opinion concerning the virgin birth of Messiah
    THANK YOU

  10. Shalom,
I believe I am of Esau and I have a question. The book of Jubilees 26:34 says this:
“And by thy sword wilt thou live,
And thou wilt serve thy brother.
And it shall come to pass when thou becomest great,
And dost shake his yoke from off thy neck,
Thou wilt sin a complete sin unto death,
And thy seed will be rooted out from under heaven.”

That says that Esau’s seed will be rooted out from under heaven after Esau becomes great. But it also says that Esau will serve his brother which hasn’t happened yet. Does this mean that Esau can get into the Kingdom to serve but will then rebel? Revelation says that even in the Kingdom Satan will be loosed for a time and that the nations will war against Israel.

I guess my hope is like Rahab. Even though it was decreed that the Canaanites would be destroyed, God made an exception for someone who didn’t follow along with her people. I’ve always been like that. Thank you.
